Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 02 rheem air conditioning system. R22 system informed customer of refrigerant standards. Found insulation dry rotted showing copper. Cleaned unit. Found hard start reading 212 rated 180-290. 45/5 voltage absorption system reading 44/5. Customer is aware of age and is expecting to replace when breakdown occurs. Not interested in concerns today. No further concerns at this point customer takes care of 16224 filter.

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on Bryant heat pump. Found voltage absorption system reading 40/7.5 rated 40/7.5. No sign of pitting burning around system. System is running upon departure. Left new 20251. No concerns at this time.

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2015 Rheem heat pump air handler. Found 16251 filter dirty, replaced. underside of coil clean. Added tabs to drain line. Found voltage absorption system reading 40/7.5 rated 40/7.5 no signs of overheating burning or pitting in disconnect or on voltage absorption system. Cleaned condenser. No concerns at this time. Accessories available to add to system being hard start, surge protection and purification system. Informed customer of these accessories customer is not interested at this point may reevaluate next year.

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2015 rim air handler heat pump. Found door for disconnect off laying in yard beside AC unit No signs of overheating inside disconnect. Clean compressor coil found 19° temperature drop with 62° ambient temperatures found 40/5 Reading 40/5 left new 1625 one filter as filter was clean no concerns at this point in time thermostat set back to heat heat pump operational upon departure no concerns at this time.

Responded to no heat situation. Found inducer motor stuck having hard time starting up. Found no birds/ debris in flu pipe. 120 at motor. Called for pricing and availability part difficult to locate. Informed customer of fault and issues presented options hm10a-e customer interested in replacement jamie coming for quote. No concern at this time furnace switch off not operational at this point in time.

Returned to complete I wave install. Installed iwave on furnace box after filter before coil. Wired into furnace. Cycled furnace on. Furnace is currently running routinely and Iwave is showing operation. No concern at this time.

Upon arrival customer stated they had a large electric bill 500+ dollars. Air handler heat pump system. Customer said it ran nonstop during freezing cold temps. Also concerned about extra dust throughout house.informed customer of heat pump limitations and cost of electric heat. Found 21 degree delta t in hp heat. 35 degree delta t in aux. found faulty sequencer not allowing 2 heat strips to operate. Found humidifier in off position. 16251 filter inside media filter cabinet. Informed customer of benefits of humidifier especially with electric heat. Customer chose to have humidifier service. Called for pricing and availability for sequencer. In stock. Presented options hd5 a-e. Customer chose option a due to 19 year old unit. Informed customer of media filter benefits as well as air purification. Customer stated he will replace 1 inch filter with 4 inch filter. And talk with fiancé about purification system. Replaced sequencers and cycled system found 22 degree delta t em heat only. 42

Upon arrival thermostat called for heat, furnace cycled on properly without fault. Allowed furnace to run for 10 minutes. 47 degree delta t. Cycled on and off furnace roughly 12 times. Furnace cycled properly with no sign of concern. Allowed furnace to run for 20 minutes, furnace cycled on properly and fired into 2md stage properly with 67 delta t. Found supply and return grilles free of obstruction. Clean filter. Flue terminated properly with flat pack concentric kit. Informed customer issues seem to be intermittent. From situation described sounds like furnace could be in lockout. Offered to replace flame system pre maintenance wise. Presented options h15 a though e. Customer wants to hold off on repair due to unconfirmed diagnostic.

diagnostic guide located around furnace. Restarted furnace and cycled through sequence of operation. System started up properly and ran for roughly 5 minutes. Shut off on high limit. Found no filter in filter cabinet blower motor and wheel caked with hair dust etc pictures uploaded. Customer stated wheel was replaced with smaller wheel previously. Also found screws lose holding combustion chamber together. Flu pipe in rough shape. Has significant rust corrosion. Called for pricing and availability for blower wheel and limit(possible further issue due to repeated tripping) . Quoted HC37A-e for blower and wheel replacement. HM13 a-e for flue replacement and will go from there. 2197 for both “A” options. Called office for ballpark price of cheapest possible 80% 80kbtu furnace. Ballparked 3200-3500 customer needs to get funds from trust. Will call us back when decision is made for repair or replacement

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2016 Rheem air handler heat pump system. Ran system with heat pump. Found system running with 24 degree delta t. Changed thermostat to ‘‘em heat, found 10 kw electric heat strip running 20.45 amps each circuit. TESP is slightly high. Running .53 hp/ .73 ‘em. Looked at under side of coil, found some obstruction on fins. Poured 28 flows of water down drain. Drain properly disposed of water broke mineral tablet into multiple pieces and dropped into water trap. Condenser voltage absorption system rated 40/7.5 reading 40/7.5. No surge suppression found at either unit. Condenser cycled off properly through thermostat while technician present. Advised customer of concerns and I wave air purification. Customer opted to service humidifier themselves. Wants to think about issues presented and address another time.customer was interested in coil cleaning presented HK7A-E. customer decided to wait for another date.

Made call for cooling upon arrival. Found system would cycle on however improper voltage being sent to reversing valve not allowing system to turn over to cooling. Nest thermostat customer opted to get thermostat replaced today with Honeywell T6 presented HH25A to address issue.customer accepted .. performed repair and cycled system is all modes. All mode working properly at this time

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2011 Rheem 80% furnace. System is operating properly within me Effexor specifications at this time with one cause for concern being pressure switch opening during run time of checks furnace cycled off and cycled back on properly and started up without fault. Let furnace run for roughly 15 more minutes 125° air coming out of Supply. Cycled furnace multiple times. Could not recreate issue.

Most notable is major safety concern of gas valve allowing gas to leak out of output section of gas valve. Also found week diaphragm in pressure sensing system rated .5 not closing till 1.1 in WC. INDUCER PULLING 1.4 in wc. High amp draw from inducer motor. As well as signs of wear and tear on heat exchanger. Presented options hm 18 b-e to address gas valve as well as Pressure switch. Option a for only gas valve. Customer chose to have quote for replacement. On schedule for today around 3 pm.

Customer has thermostat set to 66 reading 66 in house. Delta t of 20 degrees. All vents open upstairs all have airflow. Advised possibility of smart thermostat with room sensors. Or mini split system to provide comfortability upstairs. Downstairs customer stated sweating ductwork. Ran system for roughly 45 min. No sweat collecting on ductwork. 2’ section of chase cut out showing ductwork. Only showing water damage at that location. no sign of water marks on ductwork. To left or right of location in question. No signs of water coming from around ductwork. Informed customer insulation could possibly take care of sweating ductwork. No definite answer to water damage coming from ductwork

Made call for cooling upon arrival. Unit cycled on without failure unit ran with 23 degree temperature drop. Unit is a 2020 comfortmaker system. Customer stated independent contractor installed unit… previously had similar situations go bad for him. Stated wife complained of rattle noise at ac unit. Wanted to get it checked out. During run time noises were common ac noises/ vibration unit was slightly low in front offered to chock up for customer to level unit. Customer wasn’t interested at this time. Unit looks to be a good install at this time. No concerns at this time unit already has hard start and surge protection installed

Informed customer of finding and presented options HN13A-E. customer chose option c to address concerns opted for replacement of voltage enhancement system and upgraded absorption system to be installed, technician performed HN13 C and cycled unit to ensure operation, no further concerns at this time.
