Technician thankfully arrived early in the 5 hr window and was here maybe 1/2 hr. Of course today wasn't the kind of day you want to test your A/C, but I look forward to being able to use it as soon as temperatures rise!

Completed annual maintenance on a 2019 carrier air conditioner. All electrical, mechanical and safety components of the system check out at this time. During testing of the unit the technician found no electrical protection device, as well as the amp draw to the compressor to be outside of manufacturers specifications. Technician presented options hn1a-e. Customer will research the product further and get back with the office if they decide to move forward with repairs. Technician reminded customer one inch filters are to be changed monthly as the filter had not been replaced since last visit. No issues at time of departure.

No issues at time of departure.

Completed annual maintenance on a 2016 carrier air conditioner. All electrical, mechanical, and safety components of the system check out at this time. During testing of the unit, the technician found the initial amp draw on the compressor to be just outside manufacturers specifications, as well as no electrical protection device for the unit. Technician presented options hb7a-e and hn1a-e. Customer declined at this time. Technician found mouse and nest within service panel. Technician removed both and cleaned area around them. Technician left air filter beside unit as current air filter had recently been changed. Technician collected $79 service charge. No issues at time of departure.

During testing of the unit, the technician found no electrical protection device for the unit. Customer is not interested at this time. Technician reminded customer one inch filters are replaced monthly as filter replaced was almost four months old. No issues at time of departure

No heat on a 2011 Bryant furnace. Upon arrival customer stated a friend of the family had recently been out to do work, but was sure of what had been done. Technician cycled unit and found combustion exhaust system to have a slight noise during on cycle but would go away after a few seconds. During combustion test technician found the oxygen percentage to be at 16.7%. Technician presented options Ho1a for adjustment. Customer chose option a. After adjusting gas pressure within manufactures specifications the CO ppm pinged the analyzer at 2457 ppm. Technician called customer to inform her of issue and condemned furnace. Technician turned off gas valve as well as valve for incoming gas. Another technician will be out to give quote on new furnace.

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2018 Bryants air conditioner. Ambient temperatures of 39° too cold to allow system to run for extended periods of time. Found 40/5 voltage absorbed in system reading 39.8/4.8. Found in Russian amps slightly high reading 189 data plate shows LRA at 150 found system could have electrical protection. Presented options HN1A-E. Customer wants to review with husband and decide at another point

Found hard start kit reading zero cleaned coil no signs of overheating in disconnect box Voltage absorption system rated 45/5 reading 44.5/5. Found inrush amps of 159. Removed faulty hard start. Inrush reduced to 147. Customer chose Hn1a to replace hard start. 69.7 before departure. Disconnect on before departure. Ambient temperature of 49 degrees. To cold for ac runtime.

Performed maintenance and safety checks on 2003 Bryant furnace. 20 years old. Cleaned flame sensor. Found91 ohms on ignition system. Outside manufacture specifications of 45-75. Found noise complaint being inducer motor. Found beginning stages of corrosion around combustion chamber. Clean 20251 filter. Found layer of dirt in blower wheel. Customer had power vent HWT. technician observed multiple joints that didn’t look glued, upon further investigation found joints not glued. Also found vinyl drain tube capped. 10 year old HWT. also found excess corrosion around cold water tap as well as high pressure relief. Found furnace running above 400 ppm co in flu. With 6.9% o2. Furnace is not in safe operating conditions at this point in time. Called for pricing and Availability of heat exchanger and inducer motor. Motor is on a warranty only order basis at this time. For Inducer quoted HM13A-e. For heat exchanger quoted 4840. Customer stated she will turn furnace on after technician departure.

Customer stated wife found house to be a little cold. Thinks sun shining into front room causing thermostat to read warmer. Confirmed suspicions are possible. Informed customer of eco bee with room sensors No concerns at this point in time.

Technician completed repairs and cycled unit successfully. During testing on the unit the technician also found rust forming within the burner cells. Technician found no cracks and heat exchanger today. Technician recommended duct cleaning if filter is found to be very dirty in short period of time again. Customer provides filter. Technician placed service sticker on furnace. No issues at time of departure.

During testing of the unit the technician found no electrical protection device for the furnace. Customer stated due to the age of the unit he’s not interested at this time. During inspection of the unit the technician also found rust forming within all burner cells, no cracks found today. Customer stated they were aware of the age of the furnace and may call office about getting a quote for replacement in the near future. Customer just recently replaced 20255 air filter. No issues at time of departure.

Found furnace calling for heat. Furnace in lockout. Flame sensing issue. Found ignition to be at fault. Through diagnostic steps found voltage absorption system outside manufacture specifications. Inducer making grinding noise and has oil/grease covering. 5 amp fuse in 3amp board informed customer of issues and presented hm3 a-e for fault and concerns and offered to call for pricing and Availability for inducer for accurate quoting. Customer stated he only plans to be in house for a year and chose option a. Performed repair and cycled system. Furnace cycled on properly and ran with 148 ppm co in flu. 50 degree delta t. No further issues at this time.

Customer stated he heard knocking. Turned off the furnace at Tstat heard humming from motor. Made call for heat upon arrival. Found inducer motor cause of knocking. Furnace tripped on high limit. Found voltage absorption system dead. Motor humming never started in heat cycle. Furnace 20 years old. Filter dirty, customer stated 4 in media filter changed 1.5 months ago. Advised to look into duct cleaning and recommended clean air corp. called for pricing and availability presented options HC5 a for blower motor option c for motor and inducer customer has home warranty paid service charge today and will call us back if quote is needed
