Community Involvement

Sears Heating & Cooling is committed to giving back to the community through multiple annual events. Below are just a few of the programs we are involved in on an annual basis.

 Friends Stutter Step 5K Race

FRIENDS is a national non-profit organization dedicated to empowering young people who stutter and their families. Our mission is to provide support, education and empowerment to young people who stutter, their families and clinicians. We believe that every child, teen and adult deserves to live in a world where they are accepted and empowered. FRIENDS is directed by Lee Caggiano, the mother of a son who stutters and a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP).

Heat the Town

Each year, Sears Heating & Cooling teams up with HVAC contractors across the city and IMPACT Community Action in Columbus, Ohio to provide those in need with free furnace safety and efficiency checks, as well as test for deadly carbon monoxide. Heat the Town is a yearly event that Sears Heating & Cooling is proud to participate in.

Run The Race

Founded in 1999, the Brian Muha Memorial Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. The Foundation’s work is concentrated on inner-city children. Funds are raised for college scholarships and monetary help is given to inner-city programs and families.
