Blower motor had failed on Trane furnace. Due to age a Furnace customer decided to replace. We are installing a Bryant furnace on Monday.
Diagnosed low voltage interruption from transformer
Made call for cooling upon arrival. Indoor system cycled on outdoor system failed to cycle. Upon taking over electrical cover spotted multiple ear wigs falling and scurrying away, unit started up immediately after. Found concern with slide having bigger then normal ark flash upon connecting.. pulled low voltage to test ark flash multiple times. Significant flash every time. Customer had part replaced with 1 year warranty that ended in march 23. Advised fault possibly due to bugs getting into slide area. Also could be having issues with slide getting stuck. Explained Concern with switch welding itself shut with ark flash. Hd3 customer chose option a. Performed repair and cycled system. System is running properly at this point in time.
Diagnosed faulty, furnace blower motor in Trane unit
Provided repair options for repairing leak in heat pump system also provided replacement estimate for heating and cooling equipment
Left estimate and took measurements for furnace replacement. Reviewed financing options with customer.
Customer heard humming at outdoor system. Said smoke came from system. Found reversing valve clicking rapidly. Compressor blew. Will need quote for new system
Found furnace in lockout reset system to find control board sending 69-72 volts to ignition causing failure customer wants called for quoting Monday.
Performed furnace maintenance and safety check on Goodman unit
Replaced main control board high limit switch on train unit
