This week, I performed the annual maintenance on a Carrier Infinity Series 24ANB6 central air conditioning system at a local residence. I began by removing the access panels and carefully cleaning the condenser coils using a foaming coil cleaner and a soft-bristle brush. I then replaced the high-efficiency MERV 11 air filter in the air handler. Additionally, I inspected the contactors, capacitors, and other electrical components, verifying proper operation. Finally, I checked the refrigerant charge, measured airflow, and ensured all connections were tight. The system is now operating at peak efficiency, providing reliable cooling for the homeowners.

My six year old Bryant HVAC system has been running well. SHC installed the Bryant Evolution system in 2014. It is a high efficiency design which does require regular maintenance to maintain its high efficiency operation. SHC and their amazing crew of technicians visit me twice each year to clean and tweak my equipment. Wally was the most recent tech who came to perform the 2020 summer check up. Measurements are always taken to insure the equipment is operating to Bryant specifications. SHC service techs are well trained and meticulous.
