Completed annual maintenance on a 2004 Bryant air conditioner. All mechanical components of the system check out at this time. During testing of the unit technician observed initial amp draw of the compressor outside of manufacturers specifications. Technician presented options HN1A-E. Customer chose to wait and see about the repair next spring.
Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2017 Bryant air conditioning system. Due to ambient temperature of 54 degrees technician couldn’t get accurate temperature drop, also couldn’t allow unit to run for extended periods of time. Mechanical checks show voltage absorption system running 40.6/4.9 rated 40/5 LRA Rated 64 found unit pulling 66.7 LRA. informed customer of finding, informed of performance enhancement system and surge protection system. Also found penetration sealant receding allowing gap on penetration hole. Presented options HN1 To address concerns customer stated he has whole house surge protection and chose option B to add hard start kit and replace sealant and armaflex. Performed repair and cycled unit. No further concerns at this time. Left 16*25*1 filter with customer. Cleaned coil and cycled unit before departure to ensure operation.

Performed yearly maintenance in safety check on 2020 Comfortmaker air conditioner due to ambient temperatures technician could not get accurate temperature drop, also can let unit run for extended periods of time. Mechanicals checks shows no calls for concern at this time, however technician found Herm side of voltage absorption system at Brink of Being outside manufacture specifications. Technician informed customers not typical of a two year old unit could indicate power not being cleanly produced to unit. Informed customer to expect needing replacement in upcoming seasons, also informed customer of hard start and surge protection systems that could help clean up power supply to unit. Customers not interested in completing repair today. Upon arrival Mrs. Brown stated he was acting up and not coming on technician took a look at unit to find furnace starting up and running within manufacture specifications at this time. Upon arrival thermostat making call for heat. Customer stated furnace and not attempted to kick on in a couple hours. Furnace happened to tri cycle on when technician approached furnace. Unit cycled on and flame cut out after 2ish seconds. Performed diagnostic steps to find flame sensing system weak. Presented optionsHM15 A-E for repair of fault. Customer chose option B. Technician performed repair. 0ppm co in supply. Cycled unit multiple times to ensure proper operation, everything operating properly at this time. No further concerns at this time.
Customer stated (paraphrasing) humming noise started Saturday and was intermittently noticeable throughout the weekend. Upon arrival thermostat set to heat mode, unit satisfied through thermostat. Technician made call for heat, watched unit cycle on without failure or concern. Noticed slight whistle coming from filter door and return popping confirmed with customer noise isn’t cause for call today. Customer stated noise in question has always Been present. Technician let unit run for roughly 15 minutes without audible noise. Cycled system multiple time without concern. Informed customer noise is intermittent. informed customer that it’s hard to pinpoint cause for noise without hearing, keep an eye on it call us back if we can catch it. Customer confirmed she didn’t hear noise while technician present.
2015 Bryant gas furnace. Mentioned system has started running again. Was at temperature when I arrived. Set thermostat to call for heat. X13 motor system did not start and system has tripped on limit by the time I had gotten to the attic. Getting high voltage from circuit board to motor. Getting 28 v from the motor taps for heat and common. X13 motor system has failed. Customer has parts and labor warranty. Went over options on page hc12. Chose hc12a. Completed repair and cycled system. Temp rise is 60 degrees. Combustion is good. All okay at this time.
2020 concord air handler. Found sequencing systems, failed, not passing voltage to heat strips. Supplier does not have the sequencers available in stock but they have a replace heater package available. Went over options on page hg18. Chose hg18b, 6 month warranty on repairs. Replaced heater package and upgraded voltage enhancing system. Cycled and tested. Heat pump has a temp split of 14 degrees with the outdoor temp of 21 degrees. Auxiliary heat is kicking on correctly temp spLit with auxiliary heat is 52 degrees. System operating great. All okay at this time.
Cleaned up leaking fuel oil
Performed maintenance and safety check on 2004 Lennox furnace furnace is running properly and within manufacture specs, tech found voltage absorption system outside of recommended readings. Presented options “HN10” a-e. Costumer refused repair at this time. Installed I-wave purifier. Running properly at time of departure.
2006 Bryant heat pump and air handler. Ecm motor system not coming on when needed in any setting. Also found a failed communicating pin not sending dc voltage to communicate with motor. Discussed options on page hc30 to replace circuit board and ecm motor systems. Chose to go with hc30b. Replaced ecm motor and board. Added surge protection system to ecm motor. Replace saddle valve and water panel to get humidifier operating. Cycled system and completed performance testing. Temp rise in heat pump is 27 degrees. With auxiliary 55 degree temp rise. Set humidifier. Went over operation with customer. All okay at this time.
