Technician thankfully arrived early in the 5 hr window and was here maybe 1/2 hr. Of course today wasn't the kind of day you want to test your A/C, but I look forward to being able to use it as soon as temperatures rise!

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2020 Goodman unit. Left new 1625 one filter. Found 45/5 voltage absorbs in system reading 44.5/5. 53 in Rush amps. No issues found at this point in time

Performed yearly maintenance and safety checks on 2018 Bryant AC system found 40/5 orange absorption system reading 38.4/4.9. 84.9 inrush amps. Replaced 14201 filter. No issues found.

Upon arrival thermostat in off position. Made call for heat. Furnace cycled on properly. Ran with 10.8%o2. 11 ppm co in flu. 0 ppm co in supply. Furnace faulted on limit. Found filter to be in backwards. Found white particulate on filter consistent with room humidifier. Customer has humidifier in child’s bedroom. Room has independent returns.

Upon arrival furnace in lockout. Clean filter. Reset furnace furnace failed to cycle first attempt. Upon second attempt furnace cycled on properly. Cycled furnace multiple times. Furnace failed to fault while present. Advised can quote for board or inducer as inducer still has noise issues. Customer wanting to get by this year and replace come fall Wanted ballpark numbers for new furnace as current furnace is in operation. Ballparked 4500-7000 for 80% and 5000-7500 for 90%. Furnace running upon departure.

Upon arrival customer closed technician noise recorded on phone. Found inducer noise upon start up. Excess noise detected but In working order. Blower motor Almost seized up completely. Extreme noise upon slow startup. After startup motor failed into stationary position. Called for pricing. In stock. Presented hc6 and hm9 to customer to address concerns. Customer chose option a for both repairs. Retrieved parts and performed repair. Cycled system 9.8%o2. 2 ppm co in flu 0 ppm co in supply. 50 degree dletat. No issues upon departure.

Completed annual maintenance on a 1998 Bryant furnace. Upon arrival technician noticed large amounts of rust and discoloration on burners and cells, as well as large amounts of dirt/dust build up on air circulation system. Technician pulled air circulation system and inspected heat exchanger to find in poor condition. Technician used camera to inspect heat exchanger further and found crack forming, as well as multiple spots of discoloration. Technician brought issue to customer and showed customer concerns through camera on live feed. Technician closed gas line and removed power from unit. Jamie out later today per office. Technician collected service club today.

Customer contact office if they decide to move forward. Technician found dirt beginning to form on air circulation, system, and flu breakdown beginning to show itself. These are both something to keep an eye on moving forward.
